Tiffany & Co. drops New Watches Inspired by Enamel Bangles
Tiffany & Co. has launched the Enamel Watch collection, a trio of limited-edition timepieces unveiled in February 2026, paying homage to legendary designer Jean Schlumberger's iconic paillonné enamel bangles from 1962 (notably the Croisillon design, a revered jewelry classic).
Key features include:
A 36 mm case available in 18-karat white gold or yellow gold.
A diamond-set dial (often snow-set for luminosity, with some models featuring hundreds of diamonds totaling several carats).
A standout rotating outer ring of paillonné enamel—in signature Tiffany Blue® or milky white—adorned with the brand's signature cross-stitch motif in 18-karat yellow gold. The 12 crosses double as hour markers, and the entire ring spins freely as the wearer moves, adding playful dynamism.
A fixed central dial disc with 18-karat yellow-gold hands.
Strap options: Tiffany blue or white alligator, plus a diamond-studded version in some iterations.
Crafting the enamel demands exceptional skill: Each piece requires around 65 hours total, including 55 hours of enameling (a meticulous three-stage, multi-firing process to achieve the vibrant, translucent depth) and 10 hours for creating and mounting the gold cross-stitches.
This release follows Tiffany's recent tributes to Schlumberger, including high-jewelry inspired by his "Bird on a Rock" and a limited-edition chronograph echoing the brand's first chronograph from 160 years ago. The Enamel Watch continues the jeweler's focus on reviving archival designs with modern high-horology artistry.
